CLEARINGHOUSE

is the quarterly, illustrated newsletter of the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators.  It features lively articles, informative announcements, a wide variety of news, and a column by the Archivist of the United States. Clearinghouse provides a forum for archivists to share information and learn from each other.  It champions good management of government archives and records programs for the benefit of government and its citizens on the federal, state, and local levels.  The publication supports NAGARA in promoting increased awareness and understanding of government archives and records management programs.  It also encourages the important exchange of information among government archives and records management agencies to improve programs and services. Clearinghouse is published electronically and is available to members on the NAGARA Web site.  Submissions are invited by email from a group of eighty archivists, records managers, state archivists, deputies, and others, and may be forwarded to: pari-swift@ohioattorneygeneral.gov.  A call for news is also posted to the CoSA and NAGARA-talk listservs.  The updated and expanded mailing list includes representatives from every state and territory.  Issues published during the previous 12 months are available only in the Members Only section.
