Webinar Overview

In this webinar, co-presenters Jared Drucker and Amit “George” Bansee from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Digital Evidence and Records Management Division will provide a streamlined overview of managing and delivering digital evidence to ensure timely prosecution.

Presenters will explore best practices for sharing digital evidence with State and Federal Prosecution Offices, including policies and procedures designed to maintain internal compliance on fundamental factors such as filenames, classification, retention, and audit trails (elements unique to digital evidence). The discussion will also highlight the challenges of selecting and configuring vendor platforms that facilitate efficient evidence management.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into establishing workflows, improving interagency communication, and delivering effective staff training, ultimately helping to keep requests within prosecutorial timelines. By reducing turnaround times and increasing efficiency, these practices will help NAGARA members strengthen agency compliance and support prosecutorial success while emphasizing the critical role of properly managing digital evidence.
