April 2020 201 - Getting Comfortable With Discomfort: How to Move ARM Forward When You Don't Have All The Answers

Overview: Archives and Records Management (ARM) professionals are used to being "the expert" on many subjects, but with today's technology it's impossible to be all things to all people. This webinar will dive into why we are so hesitant to engage with technical partners when we feel out of our depth, and will focus on embracing our "perpetual learner" status. Successful programs don't work because everyone knows everything, but rather they assemble different people with complementary skills and knowledge.

Attendees of this webinar will learn the following:

  • How to shift focus from weaknesses to strengths
  • How to establish partnerships with experts in and outside of the organization
  • How to embrace uncertainty and commit to being a perpetual learner
