OVERVIEW: In today’s environment, agencies store a large volume of critical records electronically. Most of these environments are not secured to the degree necessary to prevent unauthorized record modification and/or deletion, and leaves the environment prone to hacking and potential ransomware. The electronic records/content standards industry committees have developed several standards & best practices providing guidance for organization with the need to protect mission critical records.

This webinar, sponsored by NAGARA Strategic Partner Preservica, will focus on recommended steps to assess existing records storage/management environments and identify areas that need to be updated/changed to better protect against the loss of critical records required by the organization and continue day to day operations greatly reducing the potential impact of a ransomware attack or data breach.

Topics to be covered will include what should be assessed/evaluated in relation to protecting your critical records, managing electronic records environment ensuring trustworthiness today and into the future, along with required change management related to ensure records are stored and protected.  We use the term environment rather than solution as trustworthiness of electronic record keeping is not only software and hardware, but also policies, procedures and methodologies combined to prevent unauthorized changes and/or modifications.
